In 1949 Bruno Czermak and Hans Feger founded the company Gummiwerk Czermak & Feger domiciled in Imst. The company concentrated on producing balloons of natural rubber. Gummiwerk Czermak & Feger was globally for the first time able to produce balloons in different shapes. The corporate building burned down in 1968. In 1969 the company moved to the present headquarters. They developed a technique which made it possible to produce latex balloons up to a diameter of 2m and for the first time balloons were printed using the screenprint.
Since 1987 the company has extended its business area on the general handling of natural rubber. Due to the engineers' efforts at the Gummiwerk Czermak & Feger tools for the sintered metal industry, medical technology and latex compounds for the textile as well as for the paper industry may be developed and produced.
Since 2000 we have a sales centre, named Ballonpoint, in Bavaria close to Munich, in order to strengthen customer service and the market positioning.
The Gummiwerk Czermak & Feger is Europe-wide known as expert in the handling of natural rubber. They are reliable partners for the use of natural rubber from the toy industry to the use in space-related engineering.
